GENTS.. wanted to add something to the board.
AFter a failed clockspring then paying 80 bucks for a bad used one.. form my 92 vert. got sick of it and then found new ones are NLA!! The horn buttons are also NLA I think.
I picked up a 96 9000 steering column with wheel & clockspring for real cheap... used clockspring wheel & All I did was rig up a connector ( I had the car part of harness of 9000).. now it uses stock connectors with an adapter and works perfect.
The new style airbag .. (push on airbag for horn).. looks nice.. but the original wheel is more comfortable.. thicker/nicer leather... anyway.. now my car uses 94-98 900/9000 clock spring!
the newer clockspring seems to be better more robust design.. the ribbon goes striaght trhough on both ends.. eliminating the junction where the original broke. if you go this route.. I think you could use original wheel newer clockspring but not sure.. just a matter of making adapter bc connectors for horn are different // airbag connectors are standard thus are identical!!
