As far as I know there are no non-Saab clutch shafts for the C900. They are all the same and all have an 8 X 1.25 mm threaded hole in the end, yours is apparently just messed up. Possibly someone once forced an 8 x 1.50 mm or maybe a 5/16" x 18tpi bolt in there and boogered it up. (8 x 1.50 mm Is another standard pitch which is typically used by the Japanese auto industry.) If so the plastic slinger would still thread in because the plastic would conform to the damaged threads. You might try running an 8 x 1.25 mm tap in to re-form the threads. Measure the depth first and stop the tap before it bottoms so it doesn't break off.
