Varying Idle

I drive an 87 SPG as my daily. She runs beautifully. Just this past week however, It developed a horrible varying idle. Only after it sits overnight though. For example, it goes back and forth between 200 to 1200 for about 20 seconds before settling at about 900. Once the engine is warm, the idle is steady and reliable, it only happens after the car sits overnight. Starting up only after a few hours it's behaves like normal.
Vacuum Leaks have been sorted out with a local Saab specialist. There are no leaks that we can find. I plan on checking out the AIC valve and cleaning the throttle housing this weekend. There is no smoke from the exhaust and no hissing coming from the engine bay. Everything runs smooth. He mentioned it might be the ECM. Could it be the MAF? Should I just focus on one of these things at a time and look for a change?
I know there are plenty of threads online covering the topic of c900s with a varying idle and Ive been to them all. I wanted to give you my personal story and hear what you have to say. I'm just confused since this only happens when the engine has sat for while and I want it sorted out before cold weather comes.
Thanks!
