I did this on my '92 900S as the rr resonator rusted out too quickly due to the way it hangs & moisture collects in the pipe going into the resonator. Gives it a nice tone but does not get obnoxious. No problem with resonance or drones. Also, take note of the minuscule air intake on the "S" model. I swapped out a 900T, likely a late eighties donor & it went in slick as snot. Bigger air cleaner too & the snorkel brings air in above the inner fender well. Felt that this balanced out the freer flowing turbo exhaust but not likely it made much difference in poerformance.
