Searching around for brake accumulators to replace the late, lamented Delco part I stumbled across this site: http://forums.aaca.org/topic/245294-brake-accumulators-are-they-all-the-same-1991-vs-1989/
From this fellow's research on accumulator cross-references, it appears that the Febi 01817 accumulator, which is a part for various '80s BMWs may be a suitable replacement for ours. (http://www.eeuroparts.com/Parts/32383/Brake-Accumulator-34331162054/?gclid=COjZlvDo08gCFUUlgQodSqcN5A).
Look for a post by Digger914, about halfway down the page.
It's way cheaper than the Jaguar equivalent.
Anybody here have an '80's BMW that they can disassemble and compare threading on the accumulator with the SAAB unit?
Edit ....
Ooops. Looking through old posts, Used to be nicknick found the same thing.
