What I think is happening is your cooling fans come on when the engine temp gets high, which happens quickly is C900s. My 91 vert does this in traffic; the sudden electrical drain causes the car to shudder for a second or two, the idle jumps high, then returns to normal. Nothing to worry about unless you stall. You can also install a higher temp thermostat if this bothers you too much. That will give you more time until the fan comes on.
