thanks -- I guess I bypassed the starter wire as it starts and runs with the wind.
This LPT is more lively than a regular turbo for sure, I tried to "outrun" a Dodge V8 late model truck, couldn't really put distance on him, but he never caught up. I shut down missing my lane change for a left lane turn, let the redneck go ahead, then he nearly rear ended a Corvette. All to keep me from merging a lane. Too bad we weren't on a cloverleaf, he would have been upside down trying to follow this car, the chassis is just glued to the planet. I need a containment seat, something to hold on to........
I'll start checking the independent things - one odd thing is that the "cruise" lightbulb is OK, and the stalk is showing on/ off continuity, but the light does not come on when you flip the switch on. I swapped in a known to be good cruise ECU, but still no light on the dash.....HOWEVER.....we did swap in a turbo instrument cluster, so the wiring to the cruise light may somehow be different.......arrrrrrghhhhh
