Posing this question to anyone who thinks they may have an answer. Here goes: 1990 SPG. Well taken care of. Sits outside in my driveway under a fitted cover while not in use. Had not been used in a month. Took it out today. Came off of the highway, and at the end of the exit my idle is hovering at 2500 rpm. I go and park in a nearby parking lot to look under the hood. I see the vac line has popped of the vacumm advance unit on the dizzy. Reconnect. Car turns over and over, doesn't want to start. I smell gas, (not excessively) so I know my fuel pump's working. Holding the pedal to the floor it reluctantly starts. Idle back to normal. I think I'm done...not. Come to edge of parking lot, idle back up to 2500rpm. I nurse the car back home five miles. It never stalls at a light, but stumbles as I accelerate. I get home. Check plug connections on TPS and IAC valve and give the engine bay a good looking over for anything out of place. Nothing. Try to start car again. Tries to start if I hold to floor, but now will not start. Any ideas what might have caused an otherwise well kept car that was running fine, to suddenly behave like this? It has rained almost every day here in CT since the second week of July, but I see no signs of moisture anywhere. I even put a new cap and rotor on it when I got home to see if perhaps water had got in and fouled that. No difference. Any insight to what I've got going on here would be greatly appreciated. I've got a fairly good stash of c900 parts here, so swapping parts out is the option I'm hoping for. Let me know. Thanks for reading. Let me know whatcha got! Thanks, Bob
