Ouch, sounds like the teeth at the bottom of the lock cylinder sheared off. The car could be driven by pulling the console and exposing the ignition switch while you hunt down the parts.. I've driven that way several times. I activated the switch with a large screwdriver. Seems a 3/8ths " blade fits the switch slot. To get at the console I remove the shift lever. In neutral is the easiest position. Three T25 screws under the shifter boot. Console cover removal involves some Torx screws. Two T20 screws in front of the shift lever. TwoT25's inside the rear ashtray. Might be a T25 in the middle. It's a tight fit coming out between the seats. Get back to us if you get that done and want to continue.
