OK, so looking ahead to Montanadana and where is the target for your destination? It's not what I would call tropical there right now, it would be a good place to go in June or September.......by the way you lucked out on the alternator, that was really good news as the crank pulley can be a cranky repair. Take Notnoel's advice and mark the pulley with indelible line so you can witness it later to see if it moved in relation to the crank. If you get to Denver and it hasn't indexed, then you're good. If not, you might check with the EOS or MHB folks for a possible pit stop to correct that.
In other words, the failing bearings on the alt pulley would have put an extraordinary load on the harmonic balancer, it may have accelerated the deterioration of the rubber isolator. Just something else to watch.
