Having been the owner of two of these special edition 1988 900 TCs, everyone knows the Springtime In Sweden Edition 1988 Saab 900 Turbo Convertibles are Black with the gray Leather and blue-ish Gray carpeting, and they came with the Anthracite Gray "SPG" trim pieces. So my question is, in 1988, was it even possible to have bought a Black with Grey interior 900 Convertible that was not a SiS? I have only ever seen the Tan interior paired with the Black exterior on those Convertibles, and swear I once had a 1988 Color Options brochure from Saab that indicated that such a color combination was not at least a standard offering at that time. I suppose anything is possible through special ordering, but I have yet to see any year of the classic 900TC where the Black Exterior had the Grey interior. They are all Tan. Check out the old pictures from the Classifieds. Anyway, my point is, if it is a 1988, 900TC with Black Exterior and Grey interior, it almost has to be a "Springtime in Sweden" whether it has the badge on the glovebox or not.
