ELCD/charcoal canister question Posted by Rose quartz 87 [Email] (#2119) [Profile/Gallery] (more from Rose quartz 87) on Wed, 13 Apr 2022 14:28:02 Members do not see ads below this line. - Help Keep This Site Online - Signup |
Hi All,
Had a look around and I seem to not be able to find an answer, hope someone has some words of wisdom.
I have the older style vacuum based mechanism on my 87 turbo ELCD/charcoal canister. The thinner vacuum line that runs from the ELCD valve up to the throttle body, (not the one that goes to the intake manifold), should that not hold vacuum? If I disconnect it I can blow and suck into that vacuum pipe. Surely boost will be going in there if it doesn't hold vacuum?
