crankcase vaccuum leak

When warmed up, my Saab (87 cvt) has high idle, approx 1200 rpm.
All vac hoses have been replaced, and vac reading meets specs.
My aic is functioning properly. The only way to drop the idle
is to pinch of the crankcase vent hose. Also, removing the oil
dipstick does not affect idle. The check valve was bad
when I got the car, and has been replaced. The crank seal in the
oil pump was leaking, so I assumed my vac leak could be there.
I just got done with that job, and still no fix.
Anyone out there run into this????????
