He bought the four M10 bolts, not studs, that bolt the turbo to the exhaust manifold. Personnally I know I would not have replaced those bolts and may have wanted to replace the nuts, but I know that I would not have. The nuts are a little special, because they are of a locking type, like Dave says and not ready available at any place that I have found. As for the studs, they are fairly easy to find, if you are wanting to put them into cask iron, which works fine if they are for use on the turbo turbine housing; but if you are replacing exhaust manifold studs on an enginge with an aluminum head, becareful of what you buy. The readily available studs have about 1/4 to 3/8" less thread on the stud side, you need as much thread as you can get, when putting them into aluminum. I have found it difficult to find correct studs and the correct high temp locking type nuts, M8 and M10. Germany is the only place that I could just walk into a hardware store and leave with the right stuff. When you handed these guys a bolt or stud, the next thing you saw was a vernier caliper and a thread gauge.
