Sounds like you have sprung the door hinge. Same thing happened on my Dad's dodge van. Replace the hinges and you should be OK. Get a paint pen and trace around where the hinge bolts to the body so you can get it back in the same exact spot. There is a little peg to locate the hinges on my '85 900T but there is still a little play even with that. Then do the same thing to where the hinge bolts onto the door when you have it off the car. Also, be careful with the wiring. I just replaced my D/S fender and had to pull the door to do it. There are electrical connectors for the wiring located inside the fender and the excess harness is zip tied to the body. If you can get to them and undo them you will have more room to work, but if not don't worry, you can still do the job with the wires attached. Get a milk crate and sit the door on it leaning against the car. this will give you enough room to get at the hinges. I would suggest having a friend help you with this job. That way you can have he or she hold the door from falling over when you attack the hinges. The door bolts on my car were 12mm. good luck.
as far as brake pads are concerned, I don't know what brand to use, but it sounds like your rotors are warped. Did you cut them when you did brakes? If they are squeaking without hitting the brakes then something is up. Either the rotor is warped, the caliper is sticking, or the ebrake is sticking. The brake pads should not be contacting the rotor when the pedal is not depressed. If the rotor is warped the pedal will pulse up and down when you apply the brakes. hope this helps
P.S. Brake pads are never a part you should cheap out on. I know Autospecialty makes some killer brake pads. Perhaps others on this bb could be of more help. I bought loaded calipers when I did my brakes so they came with the pads already installed. If you replace calipers always replace the brake hoses at the same time. It's standard procedure. Also, calipers should be replaced in pairs, cause if one is bad the other is soon to follow. Do it once and do it right.
