Hey, Monster - More grommet stuff. Posted by RS [Email] (#15) [Profile/Gallery] (more from RS) on Sun, 12 Nov 2000 11:35:44 Members do not see ads below this line. - Help Keep This Site Online - Signup |
I replaced the grommets for all of the vacuum lines. No more lumpy idle or lumpy acceleration (sounds like a gravy commercial). The old ones were pretty well shrunken and the vacuum fittings pulled out pretty easily.
Acceleration is more solid than I remember from any other SAAB. It's like a completely different car!!
If you want the part numbers for my '89 - I think the parts book showed them to be the same for all 16-valve engines (but my upside-down reading isn't as good as it used to be):
PCV Grommet (well, SAAB calls them "bushings", but we know better):
75-15-190
Vacuum connection grommets (needed 3): 75-15-208
Man, what a difference!
