My daughter's '88 non-turbo has "kissed" it's last light pole, and the damage is double the car's value. I just put $1500 into getting it fixed up. While we look for a replacement, the body shop and two mechanics offered to "take it off my hands". (Aw, gee guys, I appreciate your offer....."). Hate to see all those good parts go to waste. Is it worth the trouble to "part it out"? Or sell it as a parts car? The engine is sound, but the right front quarter, suspension, and drive axle isn't, so I assume the trans is hosed, too. I don't have the tools, garage, or where-with-all to do major work, myself. We just did ball joints, tie-rod ends, suspension, brakes and master cylinder, exhaust, new tires.

You folks have been good for straight-up advice before.
