I didnt know that 85's had the solid engine mounts, but anyway... I have put a solid engine mount in both my 86 900t and my 86 SPG and there is quite a bit of difference. Then again, mine was the aftermarket aluminum one made by someone on this board. Not only is there more vibration, but on my 86 spg, after installing this mount and reving the engine a little the exhaust sounds much louder and bassier from inside the car.
