The water that sits in the charge cooler may be warm, but the water that is in the heat exchanger coil, is in the air stream, as cool as it is going to get. How much time would you expect to pass between the time you hit 1 PSI+ and the cooled water from the heat exchanger coil forcing the warm water out of the charge cooler. I would think that this would take about the same amount of time as going from no boost to full boost.
Have you already purchased the Abbott Charge Cooler? If so, from Abbott or Accelerated Response or someone else? How much, if you don't mind?
I spent quite a lot of time speaking with Ed Abbott at the 2000 SOC and he offered one to me direct from Abbott for $800.
I still want one, just too much money for me.
