No owner's manual presently. It is being shipped to me. I've had a '92's with Clarion heads and know how to do those but never a HK. All I have on display is - - - -. When I enter the code NOTHING happens. I'm sure there must be another entry I'm missing. Also, what is the procedure if I do the code entry with the correct steps and it still doesn't work?
I bought this car off the internet and the owner of the dealership didn't tell me the radio wasn't working. An employee of his drove it from Columbus, OH to Milwaukee for me and doesn't know anything about it. Can you imagine driving all those miles with no tunes? With it being Sunday I just can't wait to hear the radio work. I know people have ripped on the Clarion systems but I have a critical ear and my former '92's Clarion CD and EQ system was awesome! It cranked with clear highs and tight bass. I hoepe the HK is the same. I have a '99 9-3 and I think the unit in there sucks. My '92 900 Convertible has the same unit as the '92 9K but doesn't sound as good because of the smaller speakers in the back.
