I was up there myself about 2 months ago, looking at a '98 CSET Dark Blue that had a tan armrest and was shot. It was dipping forward, and you could tell it was used. I was considering swapping mine for that one (since mine's perfect) if I had bought the car.
When you need/ask for parts from them (esp. if you bought the car from them and everything is covered under their warranty), they tend to rip them out of other cars on the lot, or use whatever they have in stock that more than likely came out of other cars. Had it happen to me for certain parts, but it wasn't a problem since I could either clean the interior parts or they were engine/mechanical.
I don't think there's anything you can do. Look to see if it was installed correctly, that they used the factory-drilled holes in your floorboard/chassis, and that all is tight. Other than that, it may have had a little too much weight being pressed on it for too long.
