Keith, at idle the needle should be somewhere into the white. It will depend on the engine load where exactly it will sit. The higher the load (AC, electrical accessories) the further clockwise it will go. If you shut everything off it should go further counter-clockwise. This should be about as low as it will go accept under closed throttle decelerartion. My boost gauge seems fairly accurate (compared to a afer market AutoGage meter)At idle it should rest on the line between white and yellow (ambient pressure, 0 psi, 0 in/Hg)
