... with what it will do. I love the SAS 1" bars, and it's a good thing, because I have no desire to do any more sway bar work. I thought I would never get the front bar in place. I took everything loose that they said to take loose, plus the entire passenger side fender liner and the stay brace that goes from the side of the car to the subframe; with that, I finally got the bar to fall into place. It wasn't a fun job.
But MY!!!!, does it corner! I'd recommend it for everyone. Stay away from stiff springs and expensive shocks; go through the pain of installing these bars, the result is worth it. Michael Smith, I think you would be surprised. You seem to thing that the Saab geniuses can do no wrong, and I'll admit that the stock Aero handles very well, but I think they should have gone to 1" bars, as Aeroblues said (or whoever said that). This is the kind of handling I expect from the Aero. The speed that it will generate through tight ramps is frightening, and the control is very much in the right foot. High speed lane changes are amazing, but you have to stay on top of it - the increased response is a bit more demanding. I don't detect any negative side effects at all. Of course, I need to drive it a lot more to solidify my opinion, but I'm real happy with the first impression.
