Modified Aero Suspension

I recently uprated my 97 Aero auto suspension with Koni's/Abbott springs and fitted Bridgestone SO3's. Having now put a few thousand miles under the wheels, and knowing this is always a contentious subject, I thought I'd share my experience to date...
I now find the ride to be very "jiggly" and restless on anything but a very smooth road (rare in this part of the world!). The car handles really well though, little roll and the grip from the SO3's is far better than the Michelins they replaced - especially in the wet.
To try and ease the knobbly ride I've backed off the Koni's to their softest setting and reduced tyre pressures to 28psi which has helped but not much.
Is there anything I could have cocked up in the installation process to create this problem? It all seemed reasonably straightforward at the time and I transferred over all the bumpstops etc as fitted to the old shocks.
I also fitted poly bushes to the front anti roll bar but I agree with BillD that this gives too much understeer in conjunction with the rear ploy bushes, so I think I'll revert to new rubber versions.
Would appreciate any advice from you guys as to things I could have got wrong or any other areas I could investigate.
