Front seat removal-- t-50 bolt? Posted by IrieTom [Email] (#1032) [Profile/Gallery] (more from IrieTom) on Tue, 25 Mar 2003 11:36:07 Members do not see ads below this line. - Help Keep This Site Online - Signup |
I'm planning to fix the seat heater on a friend's 9000, and had to postpone the repair when I discovered that the torx bolts holding it to the floor are bigger than any of the torx bits I own (my largest is a t-40), and won't safely turn with a hex bit.
Are the seat mount bolts t-45 or t-50?
Is there anything I should know about the power seats? I've actually swapped the leather and foam from 9000 seats onto the seat frames in my '86 900 SPG, but didn't look carefully at the wiring or motors as the 9000 seats had already been removed from the original car(s).
