Wheel size in diameter is not reallly relavent to fitting....
That Aero does have the same fender wells as you and is actually lowered so probably has less space.
The total rolling diameter of your stock wheels is about 24" so if you could find an infinitley thin tire, you could run 24"'s....
Basically it's just a trade off between space occupied by wheel or space occupied by tire.
What is important is offset and rim width. If the rim is much wider than stock or the offset is very different, that's were rubbing comes into play.
I you got an 18" wheel that was 6.5 inches wide and the same offset as an aero wheel and put 205 width tire on it, their would be no issues what so ever.
Realistically your going to find wheels that are 18x7 which is going to be about 6 mm wider on either side. This should be fine for a stock offset.
Check out abbottracing.com for the wheels I posted above. There are even mustang 17's that you can find on e-bay that will fit, thought they reauire a spacer for proper offset.
