try used hoses! If the shop detected leaks then it's likely the crimps where the ends join the hoses. A good hydraulic hose shop can 'build' the hoses for you. They can get the fittings/ends or use couplers and re-use the original fittings/ends. Look up hydraulic hose in the yellow pages or find a good auto shop/parts store that makes hoses. I had mine done back in the spring for under $60 bucks and they've held up great even with the higher head pressures of 134a. Be sure the shop uses the correct hose for 134a and the green O-rings. I assume the system is empty so replace the hoses then have th system evacuated and tested for leaks/holding vacuum. A/C sytems are NOT for amatures and DON'T use the Wally World 'death kits', leave the recharging to a licensed A/C shop. Tons of info available at: http://www.aircondition.com/http://wwwboard/
