So I took the Aero to the store this AM with a cold engine to get some half and half (coffee sucks without it) and experienced what my mother'd complained about in the past with this car - with a cold engine, you attempt to take off and as you put a load on the engine, it stumbles and cuts out, as if it's not getting enough fuel. I'm thinking coolant temp sensor, has anyone had any problems with this? Car in question is a '93 Aero (TCS, obviously), manual, 130k miles. No vacuum leaks (confirmed with smoke machine by myself). I was able to drive the car somewhat jerkily by by wildly exaggerating throttle input with my right foot while attempting to take off, it didn't result in the engine revving wildly, but rather in the engine bogging/stumbling/surging, so I doubt it's a TCS issue, if there was a discrepancy between requested and actual throttle position, it'd be limp mode, right? No CEL or TCS CTRL lights. When the car's warm, it's flawless.
