Removing Fuse 9 before starting the car and putting it into "D"rive will trick the ECU into thinking the car has a stick which will give more torque. The problem is that Fuse 9 controls other things inc. something related to the brake system.
The other alternative is to snip the wire for Pin 14 at the ECU and install a switch so that you could turn this trick on and off.
The ECU is the same for a stick or a/t; it's whether or not Pin 14 is energized that the ECU knows which path of software to follow.
