Hey Todd, I just replaced the whole unit on my 91. Didn't know there was a replacement head available and changed the whole thing. Yes, snaking the wire under the manifold is a total pain, esp for my hamm sized hands. If you want I can send you my old unit and you can find a replacement sender and install it in the factory holder. I am assuming the generic sender is swapped out into the OEM holder. I am going to do a write up on this in a day or too when I get it back on the road.
