I had my clutch master, and then slave go. The slave went maybe 6 months after I replaced the master. When I replaced the slave I did the hose and all of the clutch components. After putting it all together it was fine for a couple of weeks then the exact problem you describe started. When the car was cold, first thing in the morning, the clutch would work great. As I drove, it would get stiffer and start hanging up at the floor when I got off of it. It very rarely failed to come up though. It would just not come up when I lifted my foot. Anyway, I searched this site without finding any solutions. And, I kept driving the car, had to and had nothing to lose. Eventually, in about 6 months, the problem cleared up. My clutch still had a bit of "wierdness" when it gots warm, but it was certainly drive-able.
One thing that is interesting is that just recently (3-4 month ago) I started losing clutch fluid out of the slave. This is about a year and a half after doing the clutch job. So I bled the crap out of the clutch. This not only fixed the leakage, but caused the "grab" at the floor to return for a very brief period (4 or 5 days). Again I ignored it and it went away. You may want to see if things improve with time.
Hope it works out for you.
