IMO the rear brake calipers pistons on our cars age and begin rusting far quicker than the front calipers. My theory is that the rear pistons see less brake action, and less hydraulic pressure which could help to move fresh fluid thru the caliper/inner piston bore. IMO the rear calipers should be either rebuilt or replaced after say 90 k miles. Be interested to hear anyone elses opinion on this.
