Stiffening the ride

I have a 97 CSE with 65K miles. It is completely stock with 15" wheels. It has a great ride at low speeds on the potholed streets I drive, but feels a little less secure than I would like at highway speeds. No problem with shaking or anything like that -- tires are almost new, and recently aligned -- but it doesn't feel as crisp on the highway as the 2 other Saabs I've owned (1990 9KT and 1999 9-5). Slightly floaty. I don't want to make a big change, but I'd like to stiffen it a bit. Should I consider (1) going to 16" wheels (2) going to the Sport Chassis suspension kit (3) both (4) neither/other? TIA
