Had my dealer scan this 1992 9000Turbo 5speed and there were apparently four fault codes all pointing to the throttle potentiometer as the cause of the TCS/CTRL light being on. This car runs perfectly. Cleared the codes, and then just one showed up, indicating a "permanent fault" in the ECU! Throttle potentiometer was switched for a new one, and the light is still one. Big credit to this dealer (Saturn Saab Isuzu in northeast Calgary), they took the new potentiometer out and sent it back. Now what to do? Anybody care to hazard a guess how long this car wil run with the TCS/CTRL light on, and/or anybody have a good '92 ECU kicking about? Aren't Saabs great... (I love it when it runs right, but it drives me when stuff ike this rears its ugly head). Thanks!
