Hit a Curb, ruined a rim, now smoke

well, like an idiot, I drove completely over a fairly high curb a couple weeks ago and ruined a rim and tire. I had that replaced, and the Saab-certified mechanic looked over the car and said there wasn't many major structual damage. The car drives perfectly fine.
The exhaust piping is fairly banged up, including what seems to be the catalytic convertor (I'm far from an expert.) I've noticed some smoke coming out of the rear tailpipe when accelerating quickly on the highway (not really noticeable at slow speeds) as well as a little bit of "fog" coming out of the hood when sitting at a long stop light, for example. Also, there is an occasional odor, but not all the time.
I've been keeping an eye on the fluid levels; nothing seems to be gushing out. Temp readings are normal. No warning lights of any kind.
Any ideas? I'm going to bring it back into the shop early next week. I just hope its nothing catostophic.
