Removing the steering wheel

The problem: I am trying to remove the steering wheel off my 92-9000T. According to an article on Quasi Motors, it was a simple matter of removing the air bag and the nut holding the wheel. (He did not mention using a puller.) For reason I am still unable to figure out, the wheel on mine won't budge and I'm wondering if Quasi just forgot to mention the puller. Looking on the wheel however, I did not see any holes where the bolts could be screwed in (which are then screwed on to the puller) which raises the question of a special adapter if indeed a puller is required. Has anyone ever encountered this problem before and can help give me any ideas? Thanks.
