Well, a few weeks ago I had gone into limp mode. The dealer pulled the codes 78390 and 683BO. All vaccum lines were good, saftey valves etc. The problem was pretty much permanent except for sometimes after starts it would go 3-5miles with no lhm. So today I took her apart. I took the four screws off the plastic cover on the side that has the 7 pin connector. One of them is covered and first you have to scrap off the plastic covering over it. Then I pulled off the cover on the opposite side which revealed a rod connecting two levers, the rod easily comes out and gives you acces to the three screws that hold the ETS motor in the housing. After the screws were removed I pounded the motor out with a 1/4in drive extension, the spot to pound is where the lever will slide through once the motor is loose. Once I removed the motor I noticed that the stator had a fair bit of dirt/wear on it. I cleaned it with a q-tip and CRC electric parts cleaner the best i could. I then sprayed the whole motor assembly down with it and all the electrical connections. I also made sure that all the wires had a good connection. While I had the throttle body off I also thoroughly cleaned the butterfly and opening with carb and choke cleaner. I put it back together and walla no lhm. Its been 20miles now with varied driving wide open throttle situations, half throttle, city, highway ect.
Its not a for sure fix yet but its getting there. Ill report back after a few miles.

btw I owe a big thanks to Ron Johnson, and Eric G on here who have posted alot of information on the systems.
