monitor the gas mileage indicator while driving at a constant, say, 55 MPH, reset it once you get at a good cruise on a level stretch. What you really want to monitor is the bar LEDs which should show a relatively high average MPG (30+ or so). See, the EDU gets it's info from the injector open duration and uses this (with other inputs) to calculate MPG. If it's showing a low MPG then you know the injectors are staying open longer than they should and the problem is with one of the sensors (electrical). If it says you're getting high MPG then there is a good possibility of a mechanical fault (fuel pressure too high, fuel too cold, intake manifold too cold, internal friction too high, spark plugs, injector spray pattern sux, etc...). BTW, since it seems like your troubles began after you changed the plugs, I suggest you look at them. I'll bet they're black and sooty (like the inside of your exhaust pipe probably is). Anyway, these are my 2 cent thoughts... hope they help.
