Nailed it - power steering pump for sure!

So I'm now spewing fluid from the pump, bingo!
There's fluid spraying on various rubber bits and bearings in the serp belt area... do I need to worry about cleaning this off ASAP?
A local indie wants to charge me $160 CDN for a used one from a '91 with 88,000 miles. Sound fair?
Also, any tips for the swapout? I've never done power steering work before.
What do I need to do as far as draining fluid beforehand, and any bleeding afterwards? I presume I should siphon as much fluid out of the reservoir as I can, unhook the hoses from the pump, let the rest go into a pan, swap the pump, hook the hoses back up, fill the reservoir, run it and top up as necessary?
Anyway, any tips appreciated.
Thanks,
--jeff
