the posts and the hood closes without hitting the battery, it would do fine 8-).
The Interstate 34R fits a '95 and later 9000. The '95 has the positive cable closer to the windshield but both battery cables would reach the posts on the Interstate, just turn the battery 180 degrees. The posts on the Interstate 34R when mounted on a 1995 and later 9K would be closer to the driver side fender than the engine side, i.e. further from the cables but they can reach the posts without any problem.
