Ditto what Ray said. If it's violently studdering could be a gap issue since the DI system is so sensative. You may even need a new Direct Ignition Cassette if plugs don't fix the issue. Check out this article from quasimotors http://www.quasimotors.com/di_warn.htm.

As adamK eluded too, if your boost is running past where it normally does as when the engine is warm, it may be hitting the 15.5psi fuel cut. The engine will cut power momentarily as to not suffer an overboosting issue.

Typically DI and spark problems do not occur violently, so your best bet would be the fuel cut. Nothing to be worried about. My 9kt will do the same thing in the morning if I push it too hard; cold intercooler, cold air, cool fuel, etc.
