Hey Bill, thanks for the response. I guess I was a little vague before. I get on tangents and leave out important details.
What I meant to say was that I don't drive the car hard all the time. The only time I REALLY push it is once I'm in 3rd gear, coming off a highway on-ramp. I give it time to warm-up properly and never boost the turbo to the RED ZONE until the engine is nearly halfway up the temp. gauge. I never redline the engine. The 2 Swedish Dynamics chips sent the turbo boost PAST the red zone on the standard SAAB turbo gauge (2 Bar on my graduated Speedparts turbo gauge), so I dialed the boost down by adjusting the wastegate rod. I've been running 1.5 Bar boost for all three cylinder head failures/cracks. I also have a standard air filter in a modified airbox and a Forge Motorsport Dump Valve fitted with the 20psi spring. I have not upgraded the injectors.
Each time I think I've had a head gasket failure, I take the head off and send it to be pressure tested and decked and each time they tell me the head is cracked between both exhaust valves on either the 3 or 4 cylinder. It has always been the exhaust valves as far as i can remember. Also, I have never replaced the valve seals when having a head pressure-tested and decked. Not sure if this is important, but I'll definitely do it this time around to be sure.
This time around, should I go with larger injectors? I have already ordered a Speedparts/JR cold air intake from Taliaferro and am planning a custom downpipe, sport cat, and a straight pipe instead of the middle muffler.
