old thread was getting very long, so... 93 9000 cse turbo, auto, tcs.
when you start it, it runs HORRIBLE, and will usually stall out, unless you slowly go up to about half throttle, then it'll idle "normal", then if you keep going up SLOWLY, it'll go up to 6k without issue and sounds good, but as soon as you let off, it'll miss and idle horrible and die....
when i can keep it running, the TCS light is on, the check engine light is not, no other lights are one except tcs.
STEPS I'VE TAKEN:
compression check - all were within 2psi of eachother at 120psi.
redid all the vacuum lines (yes they're correct)
did a CLT, motor is in great shape
Been told thus far to check the tcs safety valve, i beleive that is the valve on the firewall, just behind the intake, the looks exactly like the valve over next to the battery? so i swapped those 2 valves to see if it would make a difference, same thing.
Any new idea's? i'm in Arizona so, finding parts is not happening..i also have a 97 aero but it's non tcs i guess because it doesn't have most of the bs that this car does under the hood (and looks so much cleaner)
