Kooky idling/stalling - symptoms of ? Posted by vtsnaab [Email] (#26) [Profile/Gallery] (more from vtsnaab) on Sat, 19 May 2007 15:51:59 Members do not see ads below this line. - Help Keep This Site Online - Signup |
Howdy.
My '91 9KT has recently needed a DI cassette, and the one in it presently
is a used one and has been fine for about a month as far as I can tell.
In the last couple of days when I have driven at a constant speed for
more than a few minutes, when I disengage the clutch the RPMs drop all
the way down, and sometimes it will stall.
It is fine when I restart it and will sometimes not do what I just wrote
of for a time or two, then it will be consistent for several times.
I have found that if I quickly feather the accelerator gently as the
RPMs start to plunge I can avert the stalling.
Has anyone else had this experience, and can tell me what it is a sign
of ?
Thanks !
