I get loads of stuff off UK Ebay but there are the usual caveats. Things are not always as good as the description says, and there is almost never any warranty. Prices also need a close look: for instance, I can often find a used part from Simply Saab in Bristol just as cheaply, and they hold stock.

Good buys over the years: a new "Road Handling Kit"/"Sports Chassis": electronic cruise control off a Griffin: headlamp relay (though it only lasted a year): every bit of wood trim (got the locking storage bin cover last week): a set of refurbished Anniversary wheels: a Forge valve: and a VDO boost gauge. Currently eyeing up a nice set of Aero seats, though these are getting rarer and more expensive.

Sometimes people don't know what they've got, eg. Anniversary spec or a full turbo. And you do get very nice-looking tuned cars which would probably be hard to sell though other media.

However, just today I saw someone insisting that his 5-hole Ronals would suit all 9000s. The term Aero (or often "Areo") is used for just about anything with four wheels. And not all things are well priced - as a UK driver who is registered for VAT (a kind of sales tax) I can sometimes do better buying new and reclaiming the tax. This certainly applies to computer items.

All in all, a useful resource provided you shop carefully and can accept the occasional raw deal.
