Hello all , its been a long winter here in Maine . but I did it ! my car is a 93 cde that now has full aero seating !!! heres how , If you go with front seats that are 94 or newer you have to add power to the small wire in the 3 wire plug for the seat to work , the rest of the front seats are straight bolt in , the rear seat is a different story , all the bolt holes are there for the 60/40 split seat , you just have to remove the plugs from the holes and cut the sound deadener and carpets to get to them , then bolt in both halfs of the base. you will need the screws and the pin for the left catch/lock . for the top/back rest .... the fun is you need a welder !!! you have to drill 10 spot welds and 2 line welds and remove the raised area with the catch for both sides then line them up and weld them in ! I did the job in a couple hours , I dyed the rear speaker deck black and replaces all the tan parts with the rest of the aero interior over a few weeks while using the car as a daily driver so I cant leave it apart or unuseable ( I have 2 kids ) I still have some detail work to finish but the seat is foldable and you get full pass threw to trunk .
sorry so long ,
Rick H
