Well, I've got to slightly alter my response. Like I said I have 2 Aero's...mine was previously owned by a frat guy. I got what I payed for and I'm fixing it like it's my job. My g/f's Aero on the other hand...wow. We picked it up from the 2nd owner who had the car from 50k miles to 208,000. He maintained this car so well it's scary. Going through the records he included with it proved it. So I have to agree that some may beat on an Aero if they know what they can do. On the other hand, find out more about the PO b/c they may be the enthusiast who loved and cherished it till the day they had to let it go for whatever reason. My Aero: '95 5spd 180k on the clock.....after the work I've done it's getting better, other Aero: '94 220k on clock, if you were to (if there was a safe way) drive these cars back to back blind folded, the '94 would feel smooth as butter. It's tighter in handling, shifting...no rust, clean, leather starting to crack(220k miles). In short, get to know the previous owners is what I would say. That can have a lot to do with the shape of the car.
