Ben - the clutch hydraulics in my '91 almost drove me to drink !
The master went, and it took 3 replacements before I got one
that held pressure, and they had all been 100% new too. It had
to get towed a couple of times and even though they were good
about sending replacements I had to pay the labor and it made
me quite disgusted (but glad I had AAA !).
When the slave went it was also expensive, but thankfully it
was a one-shot deal, phew !
Here's my 'other thing' for you - speaking as a fellow '91
owner: The '91 (IMO) has all of the good and none of the bad.
A blast to drive, solid, comfy and NO TCS/ETS or whatever to
turn it into a money-sucker like my '93 became...
You know why I've held back on selling mine (mostly) ?
I want it to go to someone who'll want to fix all it's nickel
and dime stuff and adore it as I did for a while longer, and
that's not an easy thing to do for an 18 y/o car !!!
Best Wishes,
mark
