where is driver's side rack mount? Thanks Bill. It's definitely raining on me. I'm not worried about wheel runout- I have spares. A bent subframe sounds like a small nightmare so I'll check that out asap.
When looking down from the top, the passenger side rack mount is pretty easy to see but I couldn't figure where to look for the driver's side one under the ABS pump, shift linkage, steering column, and heater hoses.
I'm under a time constraint to have my original car hauled away by the end of the month so if I'm going to salvage anything else, it must be tomorrow. Without an engine, removing the rack hopefully won't be so bad, though I really didn't want to get into that.
I'm hoping I can use an exhaust clamp or something strong to temporarily strap the rack down to the subframe, firewall or anything rigid. Driving might be dangerous as is.
