When I push on the trunk of the car and then let go it does bounce back. I try to pay close attention when driving over bumps or dips to see if the back end bounces continuously and it doesn't seem to. I think if it kept bouncing for a few seconds after the shocks would be worn. I looked at the suspension mounts and can't see anything that is out of place or missing. That is except for the rusting of the shock tower. Which has not worked it's way free yet so I don't believe that would be the problem. A little over a year ago I moved and filled the hatch with all my stuff. Then drove from TN to VT. So a good solid day almost two of the car being loaded down with a good bit of weight. Is it possible the weight could have simply worn out the spring?
